STI Limited with STI Wing in Pure Red.
It was mostly WRXs in this row, but a few STIs were found in the mix, too.
Only one was in WR Blue, an STI Limited with the STI Wing.
Pure Red on the Crosstrek is limited to the SE (1,500 will be produced).
I’m pretty sure I saw the new 2016 Crosstrek SE, too. It was tucked away in one of the secondary lots, and I didn’t think anything of it when I saw it. Therefore, I didn’t grab a picture of it.
I also found this 2012 Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium on the used lot. This was the last year that Subaru offered a two-tone option on any of their cars.
The Sky Blue/Ice Silver combination never was my favorite on this car (Sage Green/Ice Silver, please!) but it has definitely grown on me.

Red WRXs and STIs are my favorite, because it’s the exact opposite color of what you expect to see them in. It just looks much more striking IMO. Also, my FR-S is the same color red (I’m assuming Subaru uses the exact same shade on both, but could be wrong), so I’m a little biased.

I dont like the red. It just doesn;t seem to fit the car. The blue should also have gold wheels. I’d happily take the blue or white. I dont really want another black car again.

Yellow WRXs and STIs are my favorite (maybe because of how rare they are?) but red is really great, too. Red definitely seems to be a less popular choice on these cars.
Is your FR-S Firestorm or Ablaze? Ablaze is the same as Pure Red and was newly introduced for both Subaru and Scion for 2016. Firestorm is the same as Lightning Red, which dates back to 2008 or so.

Firestorm. Yeah, I knew it was the same as lightning red on the BRZ, but wasn’t sure if the WRX used the same color code/name. I’m a big fan of hyper blue too. I wish my car had been available in that at the time I bought it. I really like the color on the new Series.Yellow BRZ too. Any idea if that will be available on the WRXs too? I’ve always been a fan of the yellow Bugeyes.

A non-metallic red was around near the beginning, but it never really caught on as one of the “traditional” colors. I think it looks pretty good, but WR Blue, or one of the more subtle colors, tend to look exceptionally good on them.
You can see the dust on the Dark Gray Metallic WRX. It’s just as dirty as the WR Blue STI next to it...

Subaru used the same Lightning Red on various models of the Impreza, WRX, and STI between 2008 and 2015. Subaru tends to share colors between models produced at the same factory, unless it’s a very popular color like black, silver, or gray (there are some other examples, too).
Hyper Blue is a nice color, and it works on the BRZ and STI, but it looks ever so slightly awkward on the Crosstrek. I look forward to seeing the Series.Yellow in person. I’ve always liked yellow Subarus (I even have a Sonic Yellow Bugeye on my bookshelf), and this is no exception. I imagine this new yellow will appear on the WRX or STI as a special edition or limited color in a year or two.

I think that nice yellow is only available on the hybrid...

I like the crosstour a lot more than the really fast corolla.

I agree that HB does look a little bit awkward on the Crosstrek... which is exactly why I own one. It’s a little bit weird, a little bit off... and fits my personality to a T.
